Yoga therapy for mental health… Mental health starts with knowing how the mind works. Once this is properly understood from an enlightened perspective (not from another unenlightened understanding) it becomes a fairly easy task everyone can handle once they are willing to embark on a journey of inner transformation. Unfortunately most of us are stricken by the disease called laziness and think it is not for them.

Yoga therapy in the Eastern sense has been around for ages. Just that we yogis simply call it yoga. Where in the West the practiced yoga should rightly be called Hatha Yoga only. The path of yoga, complete yoga as it originally was intended by Lord Shiva, the founder of yoga, takes care of our physical health as well as our emotional and mental health. It is holistic. If yoga was practiced in a holistic way in the West there would not even be the question of yoga therapy for mental health…
